Process reliability, digitization, automation, and sustainability: the demands on process technology have never been as high as they are today. "These 4 topics will determine future trends. Those who ignore these key trends risk efficiency loss, rising operating costs, and competitive disadvantages," says Guy Beaho, Head of Market Segment Management at JUMO. Beaho emphasizes that JUMO, as a system and solution provider, has the right answers to these challenges.
He expects a lot of public traffic at the JUMO booth during the ACHEMA trade fair (June 10 to 14 in Frankfurt/Main, Hall 11.1, Booth E43). Interested parties will learn how state-of-the-art sensor and automation products can be turned into integrated systems as well as into intelligent complete solutions through engineering and service tasks. "Users and customers receive precisely the tailored technologies they need for their operational business," emphasizes Beaho.
ACHEMA is the world's largest process industry trade fair for chemical engineering, process technology, and biotechnology. Here, JUMO also has a strong focus on hydrogen (Power-to-gas, Power-to-X). "JUMO offers a wide range of hydrogen products that are used in the field of electrolysis or fuel cells," says Rainer Moritz, market segment manager energy at JUMO. JUMO's hydrogen product portfolio includes the JUMO SIRAS P21 AR pressure sensor and the JUMO ZELOS C01 LS capacitive level switch.
JUMO is introducing its own H2ready logo to make the selection of hydrogen products easier. It will be shown for the first time at ACHEMA and will subsequently be included in the product data sheets and documentation. Products bearing the H2ready logo have been tested by an external laboratory according to HGV 3.1, which guarantees their quality.
JUMO also has an impressive complete solution for heat treatment − from the sensor to the automation system − in the industrial furnace construction industry. The JUMO sensors measure with a high degree of accuracy according to the respective customer-specific requirements. The JUMO smartWARE family then evaluates the data. "As a result, the customer gets everything from a single source," says Beaho. Calibration is carried out on site by JUMO experts. "This avoids downtimes," says Beaho.
JUMO will also be presenting a solution for the manufacturing and storage of purified and highly-purified water from municipal water at ACHEMA. This conversion process often takes place in pharmaceutical, medical, and galvanic applications or in the food and beverage industry. "Such a plant can be implemented to 100 % with products from JUMO for its operation," says Beaho. This includes control, data recording, and evaluation all the way to SCADA/Cloud – as a result, it is a real "comprehensive carefree package".
Around 2800 exhibitors from more than 50 nations will be presenting their product innovations for the global process industry at the Frankfurt trade fair site from June 10 to 14, 2024. Participants from 130 countries are expected to attend.
